Transitions Are Strange, Aren’t They?

Some transitions are strange.  I have a friend that I will keep un-named that was totally obsessed with Marisa.  He walked, talked, and acted Marisa.  We would be talking about football and he would be like “hmmm… I wonder if Marisa plays football” and we would be like “what?!?”.  Anyway, I had a sleepover and we basically IM’ed all night long with people, Marisa included.  There were some interesting things said about Marisa and Daniel, some not positive.  Some were strange.  But throughout the course of the night, it ended up Marisa and I talked…and talked……………………………….and then talked some more.  And Dan eventualy pulled a 180 and said cart blanche, “why don’t you ask her out?”  I was speechless.  But, everybody ebbed me on, and I asked her what movies she wanted to see.  She named a few and then she said “anything you want to ask me, go ahead and ask” but the coward that I was in front of pressure I just said “nevermind” and she signed off.  She signed on once again and I, with the help of my friends, mustered up all my courage and asked her out.  She said “whatever” and I later found out that someone stole her screen name.  It was the school witch, and the school rumor spread as fast as I had seen one ever spread.  I then paniced, because everybody was breathing down my neck to ask her out, so I finally did.  At first she said “I don’t know!” and sorta ran off.  Then I gave her time to cosider things and she eventually said “yes”.

We went and saw benchwarmers, it was really good.  The date wasn’t personal in any stretch or fabrication, but it was dam* fun.  And I suppose that is what it is all about…
